Extender for HDMI sources

The YINGHUA HDMI KVM extender transmits video, audio and USB control signals up to 200 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It connects a PC, laptop, DVR or similar HDMI source to a remote display and keyboard-mouse set. The receiver unit is sold separately, so buyers needing multiple endpoints must order additional receivers.

HDMI 1.3 resolution ceiling

The extender supports HDMI 1.3 and handles 480p, 720p and 1080p resolutions. Higher resolutions such as 1440p or 4K are not supported, so the unit is unsuitable for modern high-DPI monitors or HDR content. Audio is carried at 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz sample rates alongside the video stream.

Low power and fanless operation

Each sender and receiver draws 3 W from a 5 V/1 A DC adapter, so total system draw is modest and no active cooling is required. Operating temperature range is 0 to 45 °C at 10 to 80 % relative humidity. The fanless design keeps the installation silent in office or studio environments.
