Long-distance HDMI KVM extension

It supports 1920x1080p resolution at 60 Hz and complies with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2 standards. The package includes one receiver unit and an Australian power plug.

Installers needing 20 km reach with USB KVM

Suited for control rooms, digital signage or remote server management where the operator must sit far from the source computer. Not suitable for users who require 4K resolution, higher refresh rates, multiple receiver units in the box, or HDMI 2.0 features such as HDR or wider colour gamut.

Single-mode fibre reach decides fit

The 20 km transmission distance over SC single-mode fibre is the specification that determines whether this extender matches the link length. Shorter or longer runs, multimode fibre, or copper cabling require a different model.

Questions about this item

Does the YINGHUA HDMI KVM Fiber Extender run silently and stay cool when powered continuously?

The extender has no moving parts and uses passive components, so it operates without fan noise and generates minimal heat during all-day use.

What cables and source devices must I already have to use the single RX unit with AU plug?

You need an HDMI source with a Type-B USB port, a USB keyboard and mouse, an SC single-mode fibre patch lead, and a matching TX transmitter — none are included.

Will the extender pass 1080p@60Hz from an older PC that only supports HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2?

Yes, the unit complies with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2, handles a 165 MHz pixel clock and 6.75 Gbps data rate, and auto-matches the display for a stable 1920×1080@60 Hz image.
