Headband Cover for WH-1000XM5

This silicone cover fits the Sony WH-1000XM5 headband to reduce hair snagging and improve long-session comfort. It is made from soft, dirt-resistant silicone that protects the original padding from wear. The zipper design lets you remove it quickly for cleaning. Buyers who prefer the bare headband feel or use a different headphone model will not need this accessory.

Daily Wear and Cleaning

The flexible silicone resists abrasion and sweat during extended listening sessions without hardening. Because it zips off in seconds, you can wash the cover separately and keep the headband hygienic. The material stays supple across temperature changes so it does not crack or peel. Users who never remove their headphones for cleaning may find the extra step unnecessary.

300 x 85 mm Silicone Dimensions

The cover measures approximately 300 by 85 millimetres (11.81 by 3.35 inches) to match the WH-1000XM5 headband profile. A manual-measurement tolerance of one to two centimetres applies, so verify fit before ordering. The package includes one black cover; other colours are listed separately. Buyers with aftermarket pads that alter headband width should confirm compatibility first.

Questions about this item

Does the silicone cover trap heat against the headband during long listening sessions?

The thin silicone layer adds minimal insulation so the headband stays close to its original temperature even after hours of use.

Which headphones must I already own for this cover to fit?

It is sized for the Sony WH-1000XM5 headset and matches the 300 x 85 mm headband profile.

Will the cover interfere with the folding hinges on my WH-1000XM5?

The flexible sleeve wraps only the top cushion and clears the hinge mechanism completely.
