HDMI Fiber Extender 20 km

The YINGHUA HF20 extends HDMI video and audio up to twenty kilometres over a single SC fiber cable. It supports 1920 by 1080 resolution at sixty hertz and includes an AU power plug. The kit contains both transmitter and receiver units for immediate deployment.

Capacity and headroom

The extender handles full high-definition signals at distances where copper HDMI fails completely. It runs out of headroom beyond twenty kilometres or when resolutions exceed 1080p at sixty hertz. The 3 km mode variant covers shorter runs with identical hardware.

Single-mode SC fiber requirement

This model operates exclusively over single-mode SC fiber optic cable, which must be sourced separately. Buyers without existing fiber infrastructure or who need multi-mode compatibility cannot use this extender.

Questions about this item

Will the 1080P 60Hz signal from this extender work with my older 1920x1080 monitor over the 20Km fiber link?

Yes, the extender transmits 1920x1080P at 60Hz up to 20Km over SC fiber, matching your monitor's native resolution and refresh rate.

How can I confirm the HF20 units are linked correctly after connecting the SC fiber cable?

The TX and RX units will pass 1080P 60Hz video and audio continuously; a stable picture on the display at the far end confirms the 20Km fiber link is active.

Does the package include the SC fiber optic cable needed for the 20Km run, or must I buy it separately?

The box contains the HF20 TX and RX transceivers with AU power plugs; the SC fiber optic cable for the 3Km or 20Km distance is not included and must be purchased separately.
