Adapts a Mini PCI-E wireless card to a full-size PCI-E slot and includes two fixed antennas for desktop Wi-Fi
This adapter converts a Mini PCI-E slot into a full-size PCI-E slot for desktop wireless cards. It ships with two fixed RP-SMA antennas for signal reception. The board is built from metal and plastic in a standard form factor. No retail packaging is included.
Suits owners of desktop motherboards that provide a Mini PCI-E socket and want to install a compatible WLAN or WWAN module. Not suited for laptops or small-form-factor systems that lack a full-height PCI-E bracket. Buyers needing removable antennas or a specific antenna colour should look elsewhere.
The antennas are permanently attached and cannot be detached or replaced. Each antenna uses an RP-SMA male-to-female interface for direct connection. This fixed design determines whether the card fits your case and antenna routing.

Insert the wireless card into the Mini PCI-E socket on the adapter, secure it with the mounting screw, plug the adapter into a free PCI-E x1 slot, and attach the two RP-SMA antennas before powering on.
The antennas are fixed and not removable, so only occasional dusting of the adapter board and antenna bases is required; no cable or connector replacement is expected.
The adapter is compatible with DOS, Windows 98, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7 and Linux, so most legacy and current systems will detect it automatically.
