YINGHUA Printhead Cable for Canon DR Series

This replacement cable connects the printhead in Canon DR-C125 DR-C225 and DR-C255 document scanners. It restores the electrical link between the carriage and the main board when the original flex ribbon is damaged or worn. Offices and service technicians use it to return a scanner to working order without replacing the entire carriage assembly.

Supplied as a single ready-to-fit ribbon

The part arrives at the correct length with the factory connector profile so no soldering or crimping is required. Installing it re-establishes signal integrity for consistent scan quality and prevents misfeed errors caused by intermittent contact. Buyers needing a complete carriage unit or a different scanner model will not find a match here.

Questions about this item

Will the flexible ribbon on this printhead cable fatigue and need replacement after repeated scanner lid cycles?

The cable is a consumable ribbon designed for the DR-C125 DR-C225 DR-C255 series; plan to replace it if the conductors crack or the connector pins oxidise from frequent opening.

What fails first on this cable during continuous high-volume scanning — the signal conductors or the connector latch?

In sustained use the fine pitch conductors tend to fracture at the fold point before the latch mechanism wears out, so watch for intermittent lines on scans.
