Printhead Sensor for Brother MFC-J2330DW

This YINGHUA printhead sensor carries part number B57U321-1 and is designed for the Brother MFC-J2330DW multifunction printer. It also fits the J2730DW, J3530DW, J5330DW, J6530DW, J6730DW, J6930DW, T4000DW and T4500DW models. The component restores printhead positioning feedback so the printer can resume normal operation. Buyers who need a full printhead assembly rather than the sensor alone cannot use this part.

Straightforward sensor replacement

Installation requires opening the printer chassis, disconnecting the old sensor cable and fitting the new unit in the same mount. No soldering or firmware updates are involved. The most common issue is routing the flexible cable incorrectly, which can pinch the wires and cause a repeat error. Technicians should verify the connector orientation before sealing the unit.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the B57U321-1 printhead sensor is working after installing it in my MFC-J2330DW?

Run a nozzle-check or print-quality report from the printer menu; clean, unbroken test patterns on all colours show the B57U321-1 sensor is detecting the printhead correctly.

What comes in the box with the B57U321-1 and do I need to buy any cables or ink separately?

The package contains only the B57U321-1 printhead sensor; ink cartridges, printhead unit, data cables and mounting screws are not included and must be sourced separately.
