Replacement Tray Clip for Brother MFC Series

This new tray clip is designed for Brother MFC inkjet multifunction printers including the J425, J430, J432, J435, J525, J625, J705, J725, J825, J835, J925 and J955 models. It replaces a broken or missing paper-tray retention clip so the cassette stays locked during printing. The part installs without tools and restores reliable paper feeding. Buyers needing a complete tray assembly or a different printer brand will not find a match here.

Fits Listed Brother MFC Models Only

The clip snaps into the existing tray housing on the compatible MFC devices and requires no additional hardware or firmware updates. It clears the paper path for standard media sizes supported by those printers. Owners of non-listed Brother models or other manufacturers should verify the part number before ordering.

Questions about this item

How long does the plastic tray clip last before it snaps under daily paper loading?

The clip is a single-piece plastic part with no moving components, so it does not wear out from repeated paper-tray insertion.

Does the clip generate any heat or noise while the printer runs all day?

The clip is a passive mechanical piece; it has no motor, fan or electronics and therefore produces no heat or noise during printer operation.
