3.175 mm shank carbide end mill

This solid tungsten-steel cutter has a 3.175 mm shank, 2 mm cutting diameter, 10 mm flute length and 38 mm overall length. The two-flute straight-slot geometry evacuates chips efficiently in wood, acrylic, PVC, nylon, resin and plywood. It is sold as a single new piece for CNC engraving and fine cutting work.

Suited for CNC operators cutting soft materials

The tool is designed for engraving and light profiling in non-ferrous stock such as wood, plastics and resin. It is not intended for heavy roughing, deep pocketing or machining metals, composites or abrasive laminates that would exceed the two-flute carbide design limits. Buyers needing higher feed rates, larger diameters or coolant-through capability should select a different cutter.
