Extends four USB 2.0 devices up to 50 metres over Cat5e/6 cable with plug-and-play operation
This USB 2.0 extender carries signals up to 50m over Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable. It provides four USB 2.0 ports for webcams, printers, keyboards, mice or other peripherals. The unit is driver-free on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android and Unix. A 5V/1A power supply connects to the transmitter.
The link runs at USB 2.0 speeds up to 480Mbps across the Ethernet cable. Maximum reach is 50m or 165ft with Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 cabling. Signal conversion is USB to Ethernet and back to USB, so latency and throughput follow the USB 2.0 standard. No driver installation is required on supported operating systems.
Verify that a US-plug 5V/1A adapter suits your mains supply or source a compatible replacement. Ensure you have solid-core Cat5e or better Ethernet cable for the full 50m run. Confirm your peripherals operate within USB 2.0 power and bandwidth limits. This extender does not support USB 3.0 or higher speeds.

This unit already includes four USB 2.0 ports, so you can connect a keyboard, mouse, webcam and printer simultaneously without adding another hub.
The link maintains full USB 2.0 bandwidth up to the 50 m limit, so high-speed devices such as webcams and microphones operate at their native 480 Mbps without throttling.
The extender uses Cat5e/6/7 Ethernet cable to reach 50 m (165 ft) while preserving the 480 Mbps USB 2.0 standard, overcoming the 5 m native USB cable limit.
