Extends USB 2.0 signals up to 50 m over Cat5e/6 cable and provides four ports for webcams, printers and other peripherals without drivers
This USB 2.0 extender transmits signals over standard Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable up to 50 metres. It provides four USB 2.0 ports at the remote end, functioning as a hub for peripherals such as webcams, printers, keyboards and mice. The device operates driver-free across Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android and Unix systems. Metal construction houses the transmitter and receiver units.
The extender converts USB signals for transmission over Ethernet cable, maintaining the USB 2.0 standard up to the rated 50-metre limit. It supports the full 480 Mbps bandwidth specification for continuous data streams from cameras or scanners. A 5 V / 1 A power supply feeds the transmitter to keep the link stable during extended sessions. No software or driver load is added to the host system.
Verify that your Ethernet cable run does not exceed 50 metres and uses Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7 grade wiring. Confirm each connected peripheral draws within the shared 5 V / 1 A power budget supplied to the transmitter. Ensure the host computer has a free USB 2.0 port for the local transmitter unit. The extender adds no driver requirement, so OS compatibility is limited to the listed platforms only.

You need a Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable up to 50 m long and a 5 V/1 A power adapter for the transmitter; the four USB 2.0 devices plug directly into the receiver hub.
Yes, the extender is backward compatible with USB 1.1 peripherals, so legacy keyboards and mice function normally over the 50 m link.
