Share a keyboard, mouse, printer and one other USB device between two computers with one-button switching
This YINGHUA KVM switch lets two computers share four USB peripherals through a single button press. It presents a practical solution for users who alternate between a desktop and a laptop without unplugging keyboards, mice, printers or scanners. The device operates on a plug-and-play basis across major desktop operating systems.
Two upstream USB ports connect to the host machines using the included cables, while four downstream ports accept your peripherals. A manual button on the unit toggles the active computer instantly, freeing desk space by eliminating duplicate device sets. An external 5V DC power input is available for bus-hungry devices such as hard drives.
The hub comfortably handles standard input devices and office peripherals like printers or plotters simultaneously. High-draw equipment may require the optional 5V adapter to function reliably. It is not suited for users who need to share displays or audio, nor for setups demanding more than four shared USB connections.

The switch uses USB 3.0 for the upstream links, so each PC sees up to 5 Gb/s while it is the active host; only one host is active at a time, so sustained transfers from both machines are serialized, not simultaneous.
The switch itself is passive and draws only the small current needed for the button logic; any heat comes from bus-powered peripherals, and the optional 5 V DC port is there only for high-draw devices such as hard drives.
Two USB-A-to-A cables are included for the PC links; you only need the standard USB cables that came with your keyboard, mouse, printer or other peripherals.
