Compatible heatsink for PowerEdge R730 and R730XD

This heatsink is designed to cool the processor inside Dell PowerEdge R730 and R730XD servers. It serves as a direct replacement part for maintaining the thermal performance of these specific rack-mounted systems. Server administrators and IT technicians use it when servicing or rebuilding these platforms.

Fits 1U and 2U rack chassis using the R730

The cooler attaches to the existing CPU retention mechanism on the system board, requiring no additional brackets or backplates. It clears standard-height memory modules and leaves the PCIe riser slots accessible for expansion cards.
