Portable NVMe 2230 Enclosure

This aluminium USB 3.2 Gen2 case turns a PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 NVMe 2230 drive into a pocket-sized external SSD. It reaches 10 Gbps through a USB-C plug and supports drives up to 4 TB. A magnetic cap keeps the drive secure while the CNC housing helps dissipate heat. The unit is ready to use with plug-and-play installation.

Mobile users and laptop owners

The enclosure suits anyone who wants to carry a fast NVMe 2230 drive between a PC and an Android phone without extra cables or power. It will not help builders who need a 2.5-inch form factor, a larger M.2 length such as 2280, or a desktop dock with additional ports. Users without a USB-C host port should look elsewhere.

2230 length requirement

Only M.2 2230 NVMe SSDs fit inside this case; longer modules cannot be installed. The bridge uses a 9210 controller with UASP and TRIM support for PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 drives. Checking that your drive is exactly 2230 mm long is the single specification that decides compatibility.
