Blue USB gaming headset for PC

The Younux MH601-Blue is a wired stereo headset that connects through a single USB port on a Windows computer. It uses 40 mm drivers and a circumaural ear-coupling design to deliver sound for gaming and general multimedia use. The flexible microphone pivots for voice chat and the headband is built for head-mounted wear. A vibration motor adds tactile feedback to low-frequency effects.

40 mm drivers with 20 Hz to 20 kHz response

The drivers cover a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range with a rated impedance of 32 ohms and sensitivity of 115 dB. Bass vibration activates on strong low-end signals but stays silent with quieter or less rhythmic audio. The microphone picks up from 50 Hz to 10 kHz at -40 dB sensitivity, suitable for in-game communication. Maximum input power is listed at 20 mW.

USB audio with optional 7.1 driver

The headset works as a standard stereo USB audio device on Windows without extra software. A supplied driver enables a virtual 7.1 surround mode on Windows 7, 8 and XP; Windows 10 users must download an updated driver from the manufacturer. The 2.2 m single-sided cable provides enough reach for a desktop setup. It is not compatible with PlayStation 4 or Xbox 360.

Questions about this item

Will the USB connector on this headset work with a PC that only has USB 2.0 ports?

The headset connects by USB and functions as a normal stereo headset on Windows without any driver, so it will operate on USB 2.0 ports.

How can I confirm the vibration feature is active once I have the headset plugged in?

Vibration triggers on rhythmic audio with strong bass; quiet or light music will not activate it, so play a bass-heavy track to feel the effect.

Does the box include the 7.1 surround driver disc or must I download it separately?

A driver for 7.1 sound on Windows 7/8/XP is included; for Windows 10 you must download the latest driver from the manufacturer website.
