Yuasa NPX-50F2 6V Lead Acid Battery

This Yuasa NPX-50F2 is a 6 V, 12.7 Ah lead-acid battery built with AGM construction for maintenance-free operation. It carries an F2 terminal and was first listed by the manufacturer on 15 July 2016. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation in compatible equipment.

Suitable For High-Rate Discharge Applications

This battery suits systems that require a compact 6 V source capable of delivering high-rate current, such as emergency lighting, alarm panels or small UPS units. It is not for users who need a 12 V block, a higher ampere-hour rating or a different terminal style for their existing wiring.

12.7 Ah Capacity At 6 Volts

The 12.7 Ah rating at 6 V is the single figure that determines whether this cell matches the runtime and voltage demands of your device. Verify that your equipment specifies exactly this capacity and voltage before fitting the battery.

Questions about this item

How often should the 12.7Ah lead-acid cell be checked or replaced in standby service?

Yuasa rates the NPX-50F2 for float standby use; plan periodic voltage checks and expect replacement after several years depending on temperature and discharge depth.

What capacity drop appears first during a long high-rate discharge at the 50 W level?

At sustained loads near the 50 W high-rate rating, voltage sag and reduced usable capacity become noticeable before thermal limits are reached.

Does the sealed AGM construction produce any audible noise or measurable heat during continuous float charging?

The valve-regulated design operates silently and generates only minimal warmth during normal float charge, with no fan or moving parts.
