Six-piece shaped egg and rice mold set

This set includes six individual molds made from food-grade polypropylene. The shapes are rabbit, bear, fish, car, star and heart. They are designed for shaping peeled hard-boiled eggs and forming rice balls or onigiri. The molds are sold as a six-count pack.

Polypropylene construction with hand-wash care

Each mold measures 2.7 by 2.7 by 1.7 inches and is rated for microwave and freezer use. The material is not non-stick and the manufacturer specifies hand washing only. High heat resistance comes from the polypropylene itself rather than a separate coating. Dishwasher cleaning is not supported.

Eggs must exceed the mold cavity size

The instructions state that a boiled egg larger than the inner cavity works best while the egg is still hot. If the egg is smaller than the cavity the shape will not form properly. This size requirement is the main factor that decides whether the set suits the eggs you typically buy.
