Replacement Port Cover

The Zacuto SDI/HDMI replacement cover protects the input and output ports on Gratical HD and Gratical X electronic viewfinders. It shields connections from dust, impacts and daily wear during production. The cover is made from robust black plastic for long-lasting durability. Installation is quick, minimising downtime on set.

Sustained Set Protection

Under continuous daily use the cover maintains a secure seal over both SDI and HDMI ports. It prevents debris ingress when cables are repeatedly connected and disconnected. The high-quality plastic construction resists cracking or loosening over extended shooting schedules. Port integrity remains intact through frequent handling and transport.

Direct OEM Replacement

This part replaces a lost or damaged factory cover on compatible Gratical viewfinders. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original cover no longer seals the ports properly. It restores the factory level of protection without modifying the viewfinder housing. Buyers needing internal board repairs or additional port types will not be served by this accessory.

Questions about this item

Does the plastic cover trap heat around the SDI and HDMI ports during all-day shoots?

The cover is a passive black-plastic shield that simply snaps over the ports; it has no electronics or moving parts, so it does not generate or retain measurable heat.

Which viewfinder models must I already own for this cover to fit?

It is moulded exclusively for the Zacuto Gratical HD and Gratical X electronic viewfinders; no other monitor or EVF shares the same port layout.

Will the cover interfere with older BNC or HDMI cables I still use on a Gratical HD?

The replacement cover mirrors the factory port geometry, so existing SDI and HDMI cables seat exactly as they did with the original cover.
