Interface Wiring Limitation

The adapter only passes the four active conductors of an RJ11 plug into an eight-position RJ45 jack, so it cannot carry the full eight-wire Ethernet signal required for broadband data. It is not designed to transmit router data over a telephone line and will not work for Wi-Fi or direct router-to-PC networking.

Capacity and Headroom
