Dual-Power Convenience for Mobile Listeners

This radio suits travellers, campers and emergency-preparedness kits because it runs from a rechargeable 2000mAh lithium cell or four AA cells. Type-C charging lets you top up from common power banks. Buyers who want Bluetooth streaming or internet radio should look at a different device class.

2000mAh Type-C Rechargeable Battery Decides Runtime

The integrated 2000mAh pack at 3.7V powers the 3W speaker and display between charges. AA backup extends listening when mains power is unavailable. Choose this model if a replaceable-cell option and USB-C recharging match your off-grid power plan.

Questions about this item

Should I rely on the built-in 2000mAh battery or buy 4 AA batteries for the ZWS-8802?

The built-in 3.7V 2000mAh lithium cell recharges via Type-C at 5V 1A; 4 AA cells (6V) give a backup option when USB power is unavailable.

What does the 3W speaker rating mean for everyday listening on the ZWS-8802?

The 3-inch 4-ohm 3W driver provides clear room-filling sound for speech and music at moderate volume without distortion.

How does the Type-C 5V 1A input affect charging speed on the ZWS-8802?

The 5V 1A limit caps the charge current at 1A, so the 2000mAh pack needs roughly two hours from empty regardless of a higher-rated charger.
