What this cord cover does

The ZhiYo floor cable cover is a self-adhesive PVC channel that runs 8.2 feet and measures 2.2 inches wide. It hides one thick power extension cord or two smaller wires such as Cat6 Ethernet cables on smooth floors or walls. The low 0.06 inch profile reduces trip hazards in homes or offices.

Check your surface and cable count

The adhesive backing bonds to smooth flooring or painted walls; an included hook fastener adds grip on carpet. Verify the surface is clean and dry before applying. The inner channel is 1.18 inches wide, so confirm your cables fit side by side without forcing the lid shut.

Behaviour under daily foot traffic

The soft PVC resists dirt and cleans more easily than fabric sleeves. After the hook fastener is pressed into carpet the cover can be opened and closed repeatedly to add or remove wires without leaving adhesive residue. The material stays flexible and keeps its shape under repeated stepping.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need anything else to mount it?

The 8.2ft PVC cord cover includes a self-adhesive backing and an extra hook fastener strip for carpet attachment; no additional tools are required.

Which width should I choose for one thick power cord versus two Ethernet cables?

The 2.17in outer and 1.18in inner width fits one thick extension cord or two Cat6/Cat5 cables; choose this single 2.2in wide version for either scenario.

How low does the 0.06in profile sit on the floor once installed?

At just 0.06in thick the cover lies almost flush with the surface, minimising trip hazards while still enclosing the wires securely.
