Photoelectric Proximity Sensor

The ZIBOO GTE6-P1211 is a photoelectric proximity sensor that uses a PinPoint LED to detect objects up to 300 mm away. It operates on 10 V DC to 30 V DC and provides a PNP switching output with selectable light or dark switching. The rectangular plastic housing measures 12 mm by 31.5 mm by 21 mm and carries an IP67 enclosure rating. A 2 m PVC cable with three 0.14 mm² conductors is fitted as standard.

Suited for simple presence detection

This sensor suits applications that need a compact visible red light source with a 7 mm spot at 90 mm distance. The mechanical spindle allows five turns of adjustment for the 250 mm sensing range. Buyers who need background suppression, laser-class precision, or a connectorised M8 or M12 interface should look at other models. The 500 Hz switching frequency also limits use in very high-speed counting tasks.

PNP output with 100 mA capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the PNP switching output rated at 100 mA maximum. The control system must accept a PNP HIGH signal near the supply voltage and a LOW signal near 0 V. If the PLC or controller requires an NPN sinking output or a higher load current, this sensor will not integrate correctly.
