SKU CH-RNZQ-GRW3J

Single-row radial ball bearing with open design measuring 240x360x56mm for smooth rotation

  • 360 mm outer diameter supports heavy radial loads
  • 56 mm width provides stable load distribution

NTN 6048 Radial Ball Bearing

The NTN 6048 is a single row radial ball bearing with an open design. It suits mechanics and maintenance engineers who need a replacement rolling element for rotating shafts in industrial equipment. The bearing handles radial loads in electric motors, gearboxes and conveyor systems where sealed variants are not required. Dimensions are 240x360x56mm for precise fitment.

Straightforward Press Fit Installation

Installation is a standard press fit onto the shaft and into the housing bore using appropriate tools. The open type allows visual inspection of the rolling elements and easy lubrication access during assembly. Problems arise when the bearing is forced unevenly, causing brinelling or misalignment that leads to premature noise and vibration. Clean mounting surfaces and correct interference fits prevent most failures.
