NTN 6326 Open-Type Radial Ball Bearing

The NTN 6326 is a single-row radial ball bearing supplied in an open configuration. It is intended for maintenance technicians and engineers who need a standard rolling-element component for electric-motor, gearbox or general machinery repair. The open design allows direct lubrication access and visual inspection during service intervals. Dimensions are 130 mm bore, 280 mm outer diameter and 58 mm width.

Bearing dimensions determine fit

The critical specification is the 130x280x58 mm envelope, which must match the shaft and housing seats exactly. Buyers who need a sealed or shielded variant for contaminated environments cannot use this open-type bearing. Buyers who require a different bore, outer diameter or width must select another part number.

Questions about this item

What does the 130x280x58mm size mean for fitting the NTN 6326 into a motor housing?

The bearing has a 130 mm bore, 280 mm outer diameter and 58 mm width, so the shaft and housing must match those dimensions exactly for a proper press fit.

How does the open-type design affect lubrication and contamination protection on the NTN 6326?

With no seals or shields, the open type allows oil or grease to flow freely for cooling but offers no barrier against dust or moisture, so the surrounding assembly must provide sealing.
