Miniature photoelectric sensor PNP

The ZIBOO SICK GTB6-P1212 is a compact rectangular photoelectric proximity sensor with background suppression. It operates on 10 to 30 V DC and provides a PNP switching output with selectable light or dark switching. The 12 mm by 31.5 mm by 21 mm housing fits tight machine spaces. A stainless steel mounting bracket is included for immediate installation.

Sustained detection up to 140 mm

The sensor uses a visible red PinPoint LED at 650 nm to achieve a sensing range of 35 mm to 140 mm with a 6 mm light spot at 100 mm distance. Response time stays below 625 µs at a switching frequency of 1,000 Hz. Power consumption is 30 mA and the output handles up to 100 mA. Mechanical spindle adjustment over five turns lets you set the exact switching point.

IP67 housing with fixed cable

The ABS and PC plastic housing with PMMA optics meets IP67 enclosure rating for dust and water protection. A 2 metre PVC cable with 0.14 mm² conductors provides the three-wire connection. Circuit protection covers reverse polarity, short circuit and overload conditions. Operating temperature spans –25 °C to +55 °C. The unit weighs 60 g.
