Pocket-Sized Photo Printer

The Zink Smile 1 Instant Digital Card Printer Blue Sticker Edition fits in a pocket and connects to a smartphone over Bluetooth to produce 2x3 inch sticky-backed prints without ink cartridges. Its pop-open wedge design reveals the output slot only when printing, keeping the device compact for travel or daily carry.

For Casual Mobile Sharing

This printer suits anyone who wants instant physical photos from a phone for scrapbooks, journals or quick gifts using the companion app for filters, frames and stickers. It is not for users who need larger formats, high-volume output or a wired USB connection to a computer for batch jobs.

Steady Low-Volume Output

The unit holds up to 40 sheets of Zink paper and prints one photo at a time, so sustained use means reloading after each small batch rather than continuous runs. The 64 MB buffer handles the single-image workflow without delay, and the battery-powered design avoids cable constraints during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the 4.6 in x 3.2 in x .9 in printer need a power outlet or does it run on an internal battery?

The compact body holds a rechargeable battery so you can print 2x3 Zink photos anywhere without a wall socket.

Will the Bluetooth link work with a phone that is several years old?

Yes, the wireless Bluetooth connection pairs with iPhone, iPad and Android devices that support the free Smile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

How can I confirm the Zink Zero Ink process is producing a correct 2x3 print?

After sending a photo from the app, the wedge opens and a glossy sticky-backed print emerges; check that colours, filters and any added stickers match the on-screen preview.
