The ZIUMIER Z20 is a wired over-ear headset built for gaming on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, laptop, Mac, tablet and phone. It connects through a 3.5 mm jack and includes a 1-to-2 Y splitter cable for devices with separate audio and microphone ports. The 50 mm dynamic drivers cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz at 32 ohm impedance.

Lightweight frame with braided cable and inline

The enclosure combines leather and plastic for a lightweight feel at 0.661386786 lb, while breathable protein memory foam ear pads and a retractable headbeam aim to keep long sessions comfortable. A 5 ft high tensile strength braided cable resists tangling and carries a rotary volume controller plus a microphone mute button within easy reach. The USB connector powers LED lighting only and is not required for audio.

Omnidirectional microphone

The flexible boom microphone uses omnidirectional pickup and noise-cancelling technology to reduce background noise during voice chat. Xbox One controller model 1537 requires an additional adapter not included in the package. Buyers who need wireless freedom or active noise cancellation for the earcups will not find those features here. The product carries an 18 month warranty from the seller.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.5 mm jack connection cap in practice?

The 3.5 mm jack carries stereo audio and microphone signals through a single plug on devices with a combined port, or through the included Y-splitter where separate headphone and mic sockets exist. The USB plug powers only the LED lighting.

What physical space and head size does the headset need to fit?

Over-ear cups with protein memory-foam pads, a retractable head beam and an adjustable headband accommodate most adult and teen head sizes; the unit weighs 0.661386786 lb.

How is the headset installed, and which step is often missed?

Plug the 3.5 mm jack into the combined audio port, or use the 1-to-2 Y splitter for separate headphone and mic sockets; connect the USB cable only if you want the LED lights. For Xbox One controller model 1537, an additional adapter is required.
