Corded Electric Sharpener for 6.5-8mm Pencils

The Zmol Zmol999 is a mains-powered pencil sharpener that accepts graphite and coloured pencils with a diameter of 6.5 to 8 millimetres. Its ABS housing encloses a stainless-steel helical blade driven by an upgraded motor rated for over 10000 sharpening cycles. The unit measures 11.9126 by 13.208 by 21.7932 centimetres and weighs 0.662 kilograms.

Suited for Classrooms and Studios.

Teachers, artists and office workers who need consistent points for writing or drawing will benefit from the three selectable modes: sharp, medium and blunt. An auto-stop feature prevents oversharpening, and the motor pauses when the shavings bin is removed. Buyers who regularly use soft-core pencils should look elsewhere, as those leads can jam the mechanism.

6.5-8mm Diameter Range Decides Compatibility

The only specification that determines whether this sharpener fits your workflow is the accepted pencil diameter of 6.5 to 8 millimetres. Pencils outside that range cannot be sharpened reliably.

Questions about this item

What power source does the corded electric Zmol999 need to operate?

The Zmol999 plugs into a standard mains outlet for power; no batteries are required.

Can the Zmol999 sharpen the 6.5-8 mm coloured pencils I already own?

Yes, it sharpens both graphite and coloured pencils in the 6.5-8 mm range, but soft-core pencils are not recommended as they may jam the helical blade.

How do I know the Zmol999 is sharpening correctly after I set it up?

The pencil stops automatically when it reaches the selected sharp, medium or blunt setting, and the motor will not run if the shavings bin is not fully closed.
