Brass Nipple Pack for Air, Gas, Oil and Steam Lines

This pack contains ten brass nipples sized at 1/2 in nominal pipe size with a 2 in overall length. Each piece features male NPT threads on one end and tapered threads on the other for Class 125 fitting compatibility. The seamless C38500 brass construction suits non-potable water, natural gas, oil, air and steam applications.

Replaces Worn or Leaking Short Nipples in Existing

The jump is worth it when a current nipple shows corrosion, thread damage or seepage at the joint. These nipples handle a maximum operating pressure of 1200 psi and a maximum steam pressure of 1200 psi across a temperature range from -65 Degrees F to 250 Degrees F. They are not for potable water systems or installations requiring a different nominal size or length.

Holds Rated Pressure Continuously Across the Full

Under sustained load the seamless brass wall resists creep and maintains the 1200 psi rating without the pressure drop sometimes seen in short bursts. The material grade C38500 and Class 125 thread fit keep joints tight during thermal cycling between the minimum and maximum operating temperatures.
