Clear Poly Bags for General Use

Zoro Select open-end poly bags measure 18 by 11 inches and come in a case pack of 1000. Made from linear low-density polyethylene at 1 mil thickness, they are clear and flat-bottomed with no closure. The bags are FDA compliant for food contact and carry California Proposition 65 warnings for cancer and reproductive harm.

1 mil Thickness Decides Strength

The single specification that determines suitability is the 1 mil gauge. It provides lightweight protection against dust and moisture but will tear under sharp edges or heavy loads. Buyers who need puncture resistance for metal parts or heavier items cannot use this gauge.

Fits Dispensing and Packing Workflows

Flat bags stack neatly on shelves and feed easily from dispensers for high-volume packing lines. The open end allows quick insertion of products without sealing equipment. They free up storage space compared to bulkier containers and suit operations that bag items individually by hand.

Questions about this item

How much space do the 18 in by 11 in dimensions give inside a real pack?

Each bag measures 18 inches long and 11 inches wide with a flat bottom, providing an open-top opening that fits items up to that footprint.

What does the 1 mil thickness cap in practice?

At 1 mil the LLDPE film is light-duty; it resists dust and moisture but will tear under sharp edges or heavy loads.

What does the case pack of 1000 require for storage?

The 1000-bag case arrives as a flat stack; allow shelf space roughly the bag footprint plus clearance for the carton height.
