Food Bag Flip Top 7 1/2 in

This pack contains 2000 clear HDPE bags with a flip-top closure. Each bag measures 7 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches and is 0.5 mil thick. They are designed for food contact and meet FDA and USDA standards. The flat-pack format keeps them tidy in storage.

FDA Compliant Reclosable Closure

The flip-top design lets you open and reseal the bag repeatedly without ties or clips. FDA compliance confirms the material is approved for direct food contact. The 0.5 mil HDPE provides a basic barrier for short-term storage. Buyers who need heat-sealable or vacuum-compatible bags should look elsewhere.

Lightweight HDPE Material

At 0.5 mil the film is thin and flexible, so it adds negligible weight to packed items. The smooth HDPE surface runs quietly over counters and shelving. No power or mechanical components are involved, so there is no noise or energy draw. The material is recyclable where facilities accept HDPE film.

Questions about this item

How does the 0.5 mil thickness perform when the bag is filled and handled in a real kitchen?

At 0.5 mil the HDPE film is thin and flexible, so it conforms to contents and seals with the flip top, but it will puncture if pressed against sharp bones or heavy edges.

What does the FDA-compliant, USDA bio-based No label mean for the bag’s approved food-contact uses?

The bag meets FDA requirements for direct food contact, yet it carries no USDA bio-based certification, so it is cleared for general storage but not marketed as a bio-based product.

What shelf or dispenser space is needed to store the 7 1/2 in flat-packed case of 2000 bags?

Each bag measures 7 1/2 in by 7 1/2 in, and the flat-packed case holds 2000 units, so allow a square footprint of roughly that width plus the carton depth.
