Clear Door Knob Bags for Bulk Packaging

These clear polypropylene bags measure 5-1/2 inches by 15 inches with a 0.65 mil thickness and come in a case of 2000. They feature an open top with a hang hole and include twist ties for closure. The flat bottom design allows the bag to stand upright while filling. FDA compliant material makes them suitable for direct food contact.

Upgrade from Loose Wrap or Smaller Bags

Switching to these pre-sized bags saves time compared to cutting roll film or tying individual knots. The integrated hang hole replaces separate header cards for retail display. The jump is worth it when daily volume makes hand-wrapping a bottleneck and consistent presentation matters.

Check Seal Width and Hang-Hole Fit

Verify that the 15-inch seal length matches your heat sealer or that twist ties meet your closure speed needs. Confirm the hang hole diameter works with your display hooks or pegboard spacing. Ensure the 5-1/2-inch width accommodates the widest item you plan to pack without forcing the gusset.

Questions about this item

Will the 55NK53 bag fit a standard door knob with its 5-1/2" width and hang hole?

Yes, the 5-1/2 inch width and included hang hole are designed to slip over a typical door knob for easy dispensing.

How do I seal the 0.65 mil polypropylene bag after loading, and what step is often missed?

Use the supplied twist ties to close the open top; the step often missed is twisting the tie tightly enough to create a secure seal.

When should I replace a case of 2000 bags in a high-volume mailing operation?

Replace the case once all 2000 bags have been used; the FDA-compliant polypropylene does not degrade under normal storage conditions.
