Extra-Wide 40 Inch Hand Wrap

This Zoro Select stretch wrap measures 40 inches wide on a continuous 5,000 foot roll. The hand-grade cast film is rated for standard duty palletising and load containment. Clear 80 gauge material allows visual inspection of wrapped goods. It suits warehouses and shipping departments that need broad coverage per revolution.

Sustained Tension on Large Loads

The 0.8 mil cast construction maintains consistent cling across the full roll length during repeated wraps. Standard duty rating means the film holds pallets together through normal transit vibration without necking down. Continuous roll format eliminates splice points that can fail under prolonged tension. Operators can wrap tall or wide pallets in fewer passes.

No-Handle Design for Dispenser Use

Absence of a built-in handle indicates the roll is intended for use with a separate hand dispenser or machine attachment. The 40 inch width reduces the number of revolutions needed per pallet compared to narrower rolls. Clear film ensures barcode scanners read labels through the wrap. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to chemical content in the film.

Questions about this item

Does the 80 ga cast film generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day wrapping?

The 80 ga cast stretch wrap is a passive film with no motor or electronics, so it produces no heat or noise while being applied.

What dispenser or handle is required to use the 40 in wide roll?

The roll has no built-in handle; a separate hand dispenser or core holder that accepts a 40 in wide roll is needed to apply it.

Will the 0.8 mil thickness work with older manual dispensers I already own?

Standard hand dispensers that accept 40 in wide rolls and 80 ga film will work; the 0.8 mil thickness matches typical hand-grade specifications.
