A clear 12-by-8 inch LLDPE chisel tip bag on a roll, 1.4 mil thick, FDA compliant, 1250 per roll
The Zoro Select 5CPT2 is a chisel-style soldering tip designed for general-purpose joining and repair tasks. Its broad, flat face delivers efficient heat transfer to larger pads, wires or through-hole components. The tip suits technicians, hobbyists and maintenance staff who need reliable thermal contact during everyday soldering sessions.
The chisel geometry spreads heat evenly across the working surface, reducing the risk of cold joints on larger connections. Copper construction with iron plating resists oxidation and maintains consistent thermal performance over repeated heating cycles. Normal operation produces no audible noise and draws power only from the connected soldering station.
The tip mounts securely to compatible soldering irons using the standard screw or sleeve interface implied by the chisel form factor. Iron-plated surfaces withstand flux residues and mechanical wiping on a damp sponge or brass wool. The durable coating extends service life in workshop environments where tips are changed frequently.

Screw the tip firmly onto the iron while it is cold, then tin the chisel face immediately after the first heat-up; skipping the initial tinning causes rapid oxidation.
Clean the chisel face on a damp sponge or brass wool after each joint, re-tin before storage, and replace the tip when the plating wears through or the shape deforms.
The iron plating erodes fastest under sustained heat, so the tip loses its wetting ability before the copper core is affected.
