Product Overview

Zoro Select 5CRN7 red paper twist ties are 5-inch ties with a wire core and paper cover. They come in a carton of 10000 pieces. The ties are designed for bundling items up to 2 inches in diameter. This product suits shipping rooms, mailrooms, and general packaging tasks.

Suitability

These ties work well for operators who need a high-volume supply of 5-inch red ties for light bundling. They are not suitable for buyers who need longer ties or a larger maximum bundle diameter. The product is not FDA compliant, so it should not be used where that certification is required.

Installation Notes

Each tie is applied by hand; wrap it around the bundle and twist the ends to secure. The wire core holds its shape once twisted. The main issue is running out of ties during a large job, so keep the carton accessible. Ensure the 5-inch length and 2-inch bundle limit match the items being secured.

Questions about this item

What bundle diameter can the 5-inch red twist ties secure?

The ties hold a maximum bundle diameter of 2 inches, so they work for cords, cables or bagged items up to that thickness.

Do the paper-covered wire ties leave residue on corrugated boxes?

The paper cover is non-adhesive and the wire core is bare metal, so they twist off cleanly without sticky residue on cardboard.

How can I verify the carton really contains 10000 ties?

Count a sample of 100 ties, weigh that sample, then weigh the full carton; the total weight divided by the sample weight should equal 100.
