15" x 12" Open Poly Bags

These clear low-density polyethylene bags measure fifteen inches by twelve inches with a 1.5 mil thickness. They arrive in a case pack of one thousand units for high-volume shipping and mailing operations. The flat-bottom design and open top suit straightforward packing workflows.

FDA compliance and Prop 65 notice

The bags meet FDA requirements for food contact where applicable. California Proposition 65 warnings indicate the material contains a chemical known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Verify that your facility handling procedures satisfy these regulatory disclosures before ordering.

Durable LDPE construction for daily use

Low-density polyethylene resists tearing and moisture during routine packing and transit. The open-ended style allows quick loading without seals or closures, while the flat bottom keeps contents stable on work surfaces. No hang hole is included, so storage relies on shelf or bin placement.

Questions about this item

What is included in the 1000-pack and do I need to buy closures separately?

The case pack contains 1000 clear low-density polyethylene bags measuring 15 in by 12 in at 1.5 mil thickness. They have an open top with no built-in closure, so tape, twist ties or a heat sealer must be supplied by you.

How do I decide between the 1.5 mil thickness and other gauges?

At 1.5 mil these bags suit light- to medium-weight contents such as clothing, literature or boxed parts; choose a heavier mil only if you need extra puncture resistance for sharp or heavy items.

Will the 15-inch seal length work on a standard impulse sealer?

Yes, the seal length is 15 in, matching the bag width, so a typical 15 in impulse or constant-heat sealer will close the full opening in one pass.
