Clear Poly Bags for Light Shipping

Zoro Select 5DRV7 bags are clear low-density polyethylene sacks measuring 24 inches long by 12 inches wide with a 0.75 mil wall. They arrive in a case pack of 500 units and feature an open top without a hang hole. The gusseted bottom expands to hold bulkier items while the FDA-compliant material suits direct food contact.

Verify Dimensions and Volume Needs

Confirm that the 24 by 12 inch size matches the products you plan to pack and that the 0.75 mil thickness provides enough puncture resistance for your load weight. The open top requires a separate heat sealer, tape or twist tie for closure. Check local regulations because the product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.

Case Pack Fits Shelving and Dispensers

The 500-count case stores flat on standard shelving and feeds easily from a roll dispenser or countertop holder. Gusseted bottoms let bags stand upright during filling, freeing both hands for packing. FDA compliance removes the need for a secondary liner when bagging approved food items, reducing material cost and waste.

Questions about this item

Does the 500-bag case come with any closure ties or heat-seal equipment included?

No, the case contains only the 500 clear LDPE bags measuring 24 in by 12 in with a 0.75 mil thickness and a gusseted bottom. Ties, tape or a heat sealer must be purchased separately.

When should I choose the 0.75 mil thickness instead of a heavier or lighter gauge?

The 0.75 mil low-density polyethylene is suited for light- to medium-weight contents where puncture resistance is not critical; heavier items or sharp edges would require a thicker bag.

How does the 0.75 mil thickness perform when the bag is loaded to its full 24-inch length?

At 0.75 mil the LDPE material stretches to accommodate bulky loads across the full 24-inch seal length while staying FDA compliant for direct food contact.
