9 x 6 inch reclosable bags

These clear polyethylene bags measure nine by six inches with a four mil thickness and a zip seal closure. They are supplied in a pack of one hundred for shipping, storage or organisation tasks. The flat bottom design keeps contents stable on shelves or in cartons.

Low-density polyethylene construction

The LDPE material provides a moisture resistant barrier while remaining flexible at room temperature. A white write-on block allows quick labelling without separate tags. No hang hole is included so the bags stack cleanly in bins or drawers.

FDA compliant food contact rating

The bags meet FDA requirements for direct food contact, making them suitable for portioning ingredients or packing finished goods. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the material contains listed chemicals. Buyers needing a different size or a hang hole should select another configuration.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the 4 mil zip seal correctly, and what step do people skip?

Press the zip seal firmly along the full 9 in length to engage both tracks; the step often skipped is running a finger across the closure twice to confirm a complete seal.

When will these LDPE bags need replacement if used repeatedly?

Replace a bag when the zip tracks no longer align or the 4 mil wall shows tears; LDPE fatigues after many open-close cycles so inspect before each reuse.

What is the first limit I hit when loading these bags near capacity?

The 4 mil thickness and flat bottom set the practical fill limit; overfilling stresses the zip seal and can cause the bag to split at the sides.
