Zoro Select 120-Grit Sandpaper Sheets

These coated abrasive sheets use emery grain on a J-weight cloth backing with an open coating. The 11-inch by 9-inch size suits hand-sanding or block use. A 50-sheet pack supports repeated jobs without frequent reordering. The medium grade works on wood, metal and painted surfaces.

J-Weight Cloth Backing With Open Coat

The flexible cloth resists tearing when folded around contours or wrapped on a sanding block. Open coating reduces loading by letting dust escape between grains. Emery abrasive cuts consistently on softer materials and light rust. Sheets stay intact through wet or dry use.

50-Sheet Pack For Medium-Grit Workloads

One box covers multiple panels, furniture pieces or prep cycles before restocking. Grit 120 removes scratch patterns from coarser paper and prepares surfaces for primer or finish. It will not strip heavy coatings or shape hard stock quickly. Buyers needing aggressive stock removal or ultra-fine finishing should choose a different grade.

Questions about this item

How many 120 grit sheets come in the pack and when will I need to replace them?

The pack contains 50 sheets; replace each sheet when the emery coating wears smooth or the cloth backing tears.

What limits how long a sheet lasts during continuous sanding?

The open-coat J-weight cloth backing resists clogging, but heavy stock removal will dull the 120 grit emery fastest.

Does the emery cloth generate much heat or dust when used all day?

Open-coat design reduces heat build-up and loading, so dust stays manageable during extended hand-sanding sessions.
