Zoro Select Open Poly Bags

Zoro Select 8RNN6 bags are clear, open-ended sleeves made from linear low-density polyethylene. Each bag measures fifteen inches long by nine inches wide with a one-mil thickness. The flat-bottom design and case pack of one thousand pieces suit light industrial and packaging workflows.

Practical limits of one-mil polyethylene

At one mil thick the film provides basic dust and moisture protection but is not rated for heavy or sharp objects. The open top has no integrated closure so separate sealing or taping is required. The material is FDA compliant for direct food contact where applicable.

Deciding specification — package quantity

The case contains exactly one thousand bags, which determines whether the volume matches your throughput. Buyers needing smaller counts or resealable closures should look for alternative pack configurations.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 15 in by 9 in bags or a different size for my parts?

The 15 in by 9 in size suits medium components; pick a larger bag only if your items exceed those dimensions.

What does the 1 mil thickness mean when I am sealing components?

At 1 mil the LLDPE film is lightweight, so it protects against dust and moisture but tears if stretched over sharp edges.

Does the open top closure work with a standard heat sealer?

Yes, the flat open top feeds through any impulse or constant heat sealer for a tamper evident seal.
