Carriage bolt for wood-to-metal joints

These Grade 5 carriage bolts feature a square neck that locks into wood to prevent rotation during tightening. The coarse UNC 1/4-20 thread engages standard Grade 2 nuts securely. Each pack contains five pieces for small repair or assembly tasks.

Medium carbon steel with chrome plating

The chrome finish resists corrosion in outdoor or damp environments better than plain steel. A 17/64 inch drill size matches the 0.245 inch square neck width for a tight fit. Round heads measuring 0.563 inch diameter sit flush without countersinking.

Rated to 120,000 psi tensile strength

Grade 5 heat treatment handles structural loads in decking, fencing and trailer work. The 0.125 inch head and square heights keep profiles low against connected surfaces. Right-hand threading follows standard installation practice with common hand tools.
