Sanding Sheets for Fine Surface Preparation

These Zoro Select sanding sheets measure 11 inches by 9 inches and come in a 50 pack. They use silicon carbide abrasive on waterproof paper backing rated at weight C. The fine 120 grit suits wood, metal or painted surfaces between coats.

Practical Limits of Waterproof Paper Backing

The C weight paper backing resists tearing during hand sanding or light orbital use. Waterproof construction allows wet sanding to reduce dust and clogging. Silicon carbide cuts quickly but wears faster than aluminium oxide on very hard materials.

Capacity and Headroom for Typical Jobs

Fifty sheets provide enough material for multiple room sized projects or several vehicle panels. The 120 grit removes light scratches and prepares surfaces for finishing coats. It will not remove heavy stock or deep corrosion efficiently.
