Will this 65W USB-C charger work with my older Surface Pro 7 that I still use daily?

Yes, the charger is compatible with Surface Pro 7 and earlier models down to Pro 3, delivering the same 20V/3.25A output those devices expect.

How can I confirm the charger is delivering the full 65W to my Surface Pro 12 after I plug it in?

The built-in charging indicator lights when power is flowing, and Windows will report 20V/3.25A (65W) in the battery settings once the handshake completes.

Does the box include the 6 ft AC mains cable, or do I need to buy a separate IEC lead?

The package contains the 65W USB-C power supply with a fixed 6 ft AC cord and a user manual; no extra cable is required.
