ZQMMSPK K40 2.0 Bookshelf Speakers

The ZQMMSPK K40 is a stereo bookshelf speaker system built for desktop and living-room listening. Two cabinets house a 3-inch carbon-fibre woofer and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter driven by a 60-watt amplifier. Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, 3.5 mm AUX and RCA inputs connect PCs, turntables, TVs and phones. The pair weighs 3.139 kilograms and measures 5.7 by 4.65 by 7.6 inches.

Upgrading from basic PC audio

These speakers replace thin monitor sound or single portable units with a true 2.0 stereo image and 60 watts of total power. The jump is worth it when you want balanced mids, clear highs and enough bass for music, films or games without adding a separate subwoofer. The wooden cabinets and metal grilles reduce resonance that plastic enclosures cannot control.

Practical limits of the analogue and wireless inputs

Bluetooth 5.3 streams compressed audio, so critical listeners will prefer the wired AUX, RCA or USB-C paths for full fidelity. The 4-ohm impedance and 85-decibel signal-to-noise ratio set the noise floor and amplifier matching requirements. The 20 kHz upper frequency response caps treble extension, and the 110-volt power supply limits use to compatible mains regions.

Questions about this item

How wide are the speakers so I can check shelf space?

Each cabinet measures 5.7 in wide, 4.65 in deep and 7.6 in high, so they fit most desktop shelves.

Which cable do I use to link the two speakers together?

Use the supplied speaker connecting cable between the active and passive units; the active speaker holds all inputs and controls.

When should I clean the drivers or grille?

Dust the metal grille and silk dome tweeter gently every few months; no user-serviceable parts inside.
