Complete Dinner Service Set

The ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS Alcea flatware set delivers a 65-piece complete dinner service for twelve people. Each setting provides a dinner fork, salad fork, soup spoon, teaspoon and dinner knife. Five additional serving pieces extend the collection for hosting. The set suits households wanting a single, coordinated purchase for daily meals and entertaining.

Capacity and headroom: 12 place settings

Twelve five-piece place settings cover family dinners and medium gatherings with room to spare. The five serving pieces handle shared dishes without needing separate purchases. Large events exceeding twelve guests will require supplemental flatware. The 18/10 stainless steel construction resists corrosion through repeated daily use and dishwasher cycles.

18/10 stainless steel with mirror polish

Every piece is fabricated from 18/10 stainless steel for optimal corrosion resistance and a lasting luster. Surfaces and edges are carefully polished to a brilliant mirror finish. Knives offer superior cutting precision expected from over 120 years of cutlery expertise. Dishwasher safe convenience preserves the finish without hand-washing effort.

Questions about this item

Will the 18/10 stainless steel pieces hold up against older silver-plated serving dishes without causing surface wear?

The 18/10 stainless steel is harder than silver plate, so contact during stacking or washing can scratch the older pieces; store and wash them separately to preserve both finishes.

How can I verify the mirror finish on all 65 pieces is defect-free after the first wash?

Inspect each piece under a bright light after the initial dishwasher cycle; the polished surface should reflect evenly with no cloudy spots, water marks, or rough edges on the decorative handle accents.

Which serving pieces are included in the box beyond the twelve 5-piece place settings, and what common serving tools are absent?

The set supplies five serving pieces; typical missing items are a gravy ladle, cake server, butter knife, and dedicated salad serving fork and spoon.
