The ZyXEL C3000Z is a bonded VDSL2 gateway with integrated AC2200 dual-band Wi-Fi. It supports the VDSL2 35B profile and vectoring technology to reduce crosstalk on bonded lines. A dedicated Gigabit Ethernet WAN port doubles as a fifth LAN port when the unit operates in DSL mode. The device includes dual Ethernet firewalls using NAT and SPI for traffic protection.

Suitable for bonded VDSL2 subscribers needing

This gateway fits households using a bonded VDSL2 connection who want dual-band wireless rated at AC2200. It delivers up to 1.7 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band with support for up to four separate SSIDs. Buyers whose ISP does not offer bonded VDSL2 service or who require a pure modem without routing functions should consider other hardware.

VDSL2 bonding with vectoring support

The defining specification is the bonded VDSL2 implementation with vectoring support on the 35B profile. This combination determines whether the unit can sync with the provider's line configuration and achieve the stated performance gains.
