Direct replacement for 2005 Saab

This console-mounted AM/FM radio with six-disc CD player is built to match part number 15783685 for the 2005 Saab 9-7X. It serves owners who need an exact factory unit rather than an aftermarket alternative. Professional remanufacturing includes cleaning, servicing and full functional testing before shipment.

Steady playback from factory electronics

The unit delivers consistent AM/FM reception and CD changers performance under normal driving conditions. Internal mechanisms are verified for reliable disc loading and ejection over repeated cycles. A dealer activation step may be required to enable full operation after installation.

Console mount with factory connectors

The original console mounting points and wiring plugs align without modification. Matching the interchange number 638-00155 and compatible number 15774309 is essential; similar-looking units with different data streams will not code correctly. Buyers without the exact part number should verify fitment using their VIN before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the remanufactured 15783685 unit run hot or make noise after hours of daily driving?

The professionally remanufactured radio is cleaned, serviced and tested to 100 % working order, so it should operate at normal temperature and without added noise.

What existing wiring or harness must already be in the 2005 Saab for the 15783685 console radio to plug in?

The vehicle must already have the factory console-mounted radio harness and any external amplifier data stream that matches part 15783685 or compatible 15774309.

Will the 15783685 radio work alongside the original steering-wheel controls and external amp in a 2005 Saab 9-7X?

It functions as a direct replacement only when the exact part number 15783685 or interchange 638-00155 is already installed; different data streams or external amps will prevent coding.
