Owners replacing a failed factory radio

Buyers who want a straight swap without dealer programming will benefit from the pre-unlocked state. Vehicles equipped with special sound packages or premium audio options may still require dealer configuration after installation. Anyone seeking Bluetooth streaming, satellite radio integration or a modern touchscreen interface should look elsewhere.

Verify option code US9 and harness match

Confirm the vehicle build sheet lists option code US9 before ordering. Check that the existing wiring harness and antenna connections match the factory layout. Ensure the dashboard opening accepts the original single-DIN chassis and that steering-wheel controls, if present, are compatible with the OEM interface.
