Direct-fit replacement for 2008-2009 Acura RDX

This professionally remanufactured receiver restores factory audio with AM, FM, six-disc CD, MP3 and WMA playback. It carries part number 39101-STK-A020-M1 and interchange number 638-50786 for exact OEM fitment.

Verify your current part number before ordering

The unit is a direct replacement only and requires the existing radio to show part number 39101-STK-A020-M1 or compatible number 39100STKA01. Different data streams or external amplifier configurations will prevent coding even if connectors appear identical. Check the VIN with a dealer if you are uncertain.

Installs into the original dashboard opening

The receiver uses the factory wiring harness and antenna connection, retaining steering-wheel controls where equipped. Dealer programming may be required to activate the unit after installation. No additional adapters or brackets are needed when the correct part number matches.

Questions about this item

Does the replacement radio include mounting brackets or a wiring harness, or must they be purchased separately?

The unit is sold as a direct replacement for the original 39101-STK-A020-M1 radio; it reuses the factory brackets and harness already in the 2008-2009 Acura RDX, so no extra parts are required.

How do I confirm that the 39101-STK-A020-M1 or interchange number 638-50786 matches the radio currently in my RDX?

Locate the part number on the label of your existing radio — it must read 39101-STK-A020-M1, 39100STKA01 or 638-50786; if the numbers differ the unit will not code correctly.

What does the “dealer turn on maybe required” note mean for day-to-day use after installation?

After fitting the remanufactured receiver, a dealership or suitably equipped shop may need to programme the vehicle’s data bus so the radio communicates with the RDX’s audio system and any external amplifier.
