The component arrives in 100 percent working order and requires no unlock code. Buyers who need a different part number or whose vehicles use external amplifiers will find this unit incompatible.

Installation Requirements

Questions about this item

Does this panel overheat or draw extra power when the climate system runs continuously?

The unit is a direct replacement for the original 8A5T-18A802-DKW and operates within the vehicle's standard electrical and thermal design, so no additional heat or power concerns arise during all-day use.

Must my 2009 Lincoln MKS already have the exact part number 8A5T-18A802-DKW or interchange 638-02648 for this panel to function?

Yes, the supplier states this is a replacement only and will likely not work unless the vehicle currently uses part number 8A5T-18A802-DKW or interchange 638-02648; verify with your VIN before ordering.
